What DACF Office Does
The office:
1. Prepares the formula used for the sharing of the Fund.
2. Disburses the Fund to the various District Assemblies based on the approved formula by Parliament.
3. Check and monitors the use of the fund by the District assemblies.
4. Reports in writing to the Minister of Local Government and rural Development on how the assemblies utilize the Fund.
5. Report to the people’s representative (Parliament) to get them inform about how the Fund (tax payers’ money) was used
